Module Feature

SEFELEC is a France-origin test instrument brand owned by Eaton, founded in 1965. Its product portfolio covers dielectric withstand tester, insulation resistance meter, micro-ohmmeter and multi-point automatic cable harness tester. It supports continuity, insulation, hipot and earth bond test. Modular scanner channels and touch screen interface are available for automated production line test. Widely stocked as spare test instrument and accessories for aerospace, rail transit and automotive wiring workshop.

Working principle

The instrument applies preset high voltage or test current to DUT. It measures leakage current, insulation resistance or loop resistance, compares data with configured test limits. Pass/fail judgement and test log will be generated automatically. Safety interlock circuit protects operators during high voltage test.

Onboard components

High voltage power supply, precision measurement circuit, relay matrix scanner, touch screen display, safety interlock switch, test output terminals and metal cabinet.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate power, test running, pass and fail status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Unit monitors internal high voltage circuit, interlock loop and calibration status. Test parameters and limit values can be edited locally.

Programming software

Winpass MX, used for test program editing, batch data recording and remote instrument control.

Installation

Connect protective earth ground before operation. Wire test probes or harness fixture, set test voltage, time and limit parameters, perform calibration and verify pass/fail action after commissioning.

Diagnostic

Fail alarm: Insulation breakdown or wiring short circuit on DUT. Interlock error: Safety door open or emergency stop activated. Communication offline: PC connection cable loose or software link error.
