Module Feature

F200S342CQBAEZ1ZZ is Emerson Micro Motion F-series Coriolis mass flow sensor. It adopts double bent 316L stainless steel measuring tube structure, no moving parts inside.

It can simultaneously collect mass flow, fluid density and medium temperature signals. It has good adaptability for liquid, gas and multi-phase medium. It can be matched with 2400S, 3700, 4200 series transmitters. Widely used in petrochemical, fine chemical, natural gas and food processing process metering and custody transfer occasions.

Working principle

The drive coil excites the measuring tube to vibrate at resonant frequency. When fluid flows through the tube, Coriolis force produces phase difference between inlet side and outlet side vibration.

The electromagnetic pickoff sensors capture vibration phase signal, transmitter calculates mass flow, density and temperature value. Measurement data is converted to analog signal or digital bus signal and uploaded to DCS control system.

Onboard components

316L stainless steel flow tube, drive coil, signal pickoff coil, temperature RTD sensor, sensor housing, process flange connection body, internal wiring terminal.

LED indicators

Indicator lamps are integrated on matched transmitter. LEDs show power, measurement valid, communication and fault alarm status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Self-check covers tube vibration abnormal, sensor coil open/short circuit, RTD temperature error, excitation drive failure and communication timeout. Fault codes can be read by ProLink software.

Programming software

Micro Motion ProLink for flow calibration, fluid parameter setting, alarm configuration and firmware upgrade.

Installation

Install the sensor on pipeline without strong vibration, reserve enough upstream and downstream straight pipe section. Keep tube full of measured medium.

Connect sensor cable to matching transmitter, complete zero calibration after medium filling. Set fluid density and flow alarm threshold. Regularly check pipeline vibration and tube scaling condition.

Interface

Process flange ports, multi-core shielded signal cable connector for transmitter connection.

Diagnostic

Zero drift: Pipeline vibration, tube scaling or not full of fluid.

No flow signal: Drive coil damaged, signal cable open circuit.

Density reading abnormal: Medium phase separation or bubble inside tube.
