It works based on Faraday electromagnetic induction principle. When conductive fluid flows through the measuring tube, induced voltage is captured by internal electrodes. The transmitter converts the signal into standard 4-20mA and digital HART output. Measurement result is independent of fluid density, viscosity and flow profile. Built-in Heartbeat self-check function detects electrode fouling, empty pipe and circuit abnormality.
