Function

10GBASE-T-10GE is SFP+ copper transceiver module. It converts SFP+ electrical signal into 10GBASE-T copper signal via RJ45 port. It supports auto speed negotiation between 10G,1G and 100Mbps. It can utilize existing Cat6a copper cabling to deliver 10G Ethernet without fiber, flexible for server room and rack short distance interconnection. Widely used for network upgrade and spare replacement.

Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Insert the 10GBASE-T-10GE module into SFP+ slot of switch or network device. Lock the module. Plug Cat6a RJ45 patch cord into module RJ45 port. Power on device, verify link LED status. Configure port speed/auto negotiation on network OS if required.
