10GLRSFP10KMET is Extreme original SFP+ transceiver. Works on Extreme switches/routers with SFP+ ports, including SLX9850, Summit X670, X670V series. EEPROM pre-flashed for ExtremeXOS/SLX-OS automatic identification. Suitable for core backbone, building interconnection and long-distance leaf-spine 10G fiber links.

Function

10GLRSFP10KMET is long-reach 10G SFP+ optical transceiver. It converts 10G electrical NRZ signal into optical signal for transmission over single-mode fiber up to 10km. Low power consumption reduces thermal load on high-density switch ports. DOM function supports continuous real-time monitoring of optical link health, widely used for enterprise campus backbone and medium-long distance data center interconnection.

Installation

Insert SFP+ module into SFP+ port until latch locks. Connect duplex LC single-mode fiber patch cord. Verify module detection and optical power via SLX-OS / ExtremeXOS CLI. Keep fiber end faces clean and check fiber polarity.
