System compatibility

210-24p-GE2 belongs to ExtremeSwitching 210 series. Compatible with Extreme certified 1G SFP transceivers. Supports Layer2 switching and basic IPv4 static routing, up to 60 static routes. Can be managed via local CLI, web GUI or remote ExtremeCloud cloud platform. Suitable for enterprise branch, classroom and IP surveillance access layer deployment.

Function

210-24p-GE2 is rack-mounted PoE+ gigabit access switch for enterprise branch and campus network. 24 PoE+ RJ45 ports transmit data and supply power to wireless APs, IP cameras and VoIP phones. Two dedicated SFP slots provide long-distance fiber uplink to aggregation switch. It supports VLAN, RSTP/MSTP, 802.1X port authentication, LLDP, QoS and traffic filtering. Widely deployed for office wireless access, video monitoring and small campus wired network.

Installation

Mount the switch to standard 19-inch rack. Connect AC power cord. Use console cable for initial local configuration. Insert 1G SFP transceiver and fiber patch cord for uplink connection. Configure VLAN, PoE priority and cloud management parameters as required. Verify port link status and PoE power output after power-on.
