System compatibility

25G-SR-SFP100M is Extreme original 25G SFP28 multimode transceiver. Compatible with Extreme VSP and Summit series switches equipped with SFP28 slots. RS-FEC must be enabled on the host port for stable 25G link operation. Supports DOM real-time monitoring of optical power, temperature, supply voltage and laser bias current. Widely used for short-range rack-to-rack 25G interconnection inside data centers.

Function

25G-SR-SFP100M converts 25G electrical signal into optical signal for multimode fiber transmission at 850nm wavelength. Built-in CDR for signal recovery. DOM function can read transceiver working parameters in real time. This module is used for 25G point-to-point multimode fiber connection between adjacent server racks in computer room.

Installation

Wear ESD anti-static wrist strap. Insert the SFP28 module fully into the SFP28 port of switch. Connect LC multimode fiber patch cord. Enable RS-FEC on the switch port. Power on the equipment, verify module identification, DOM optical power reading and link status via switch CLI before commissioning.
