Function

7720-32C-AC-R is high-density 100G universal switch designed for data center spine and enterprise core aggregation. 32 QSFP28 ports run at 40G or 100G, and can be breakout into multiple lower-speed 25G/10G links to connect leaf switches and servers. Back-to-front airflow fits hot-aisle cold-aisle data center layout. Dual redundant AC power and six hot-swappable fans enhance reliability. It supports EVPN/VXLAN, dynamic routing, hardware ACL and advanced security policies. Integrated application hosting allows running virtual network tools directly on the switch. Widely used for medium & large data center spine layer, cloud cluster and large campus core network.

Installation

Mount switch into standard 19-inch rack. Confirm back-to-front airflow direction matches cabinet design. Install dual AC power supplies and fan modules. Connect console port for initial OS selection and configuration. Insert QSFP28 transceivers or DAC/AOC cables. Configure port partitioning, VXLAN/EVPN, routing and stacking as required. Verify port link, fan and PSU health after power on.
