Function

AL4900A04-E6 is ERS4950GTS-PWR+ high-density PoE+ gigabit access switch. 48 PoE+ ports transmit data and supply up to 30W power for wireless APs, VoIP phones and IP surveillance cameras. Two SFP+ multi-speed ports provide 1G or 10G fiber uplink to aggregation switches. It supports stack technology to combine multiple switches under unified management. Built-in rich enterprise network features including VLAN, RSTP, 802.1X authentication, LLDP and ACL. Widely used for enterprise wiring closet, hotel and campus edge PoE access networks.

Installation

Mount the switch into standard 19-inch rack. Install hot-swappable AC power supplies and connect power cords. Use console port for initial CLI configuration. Insert SFP+ transceivers or DAC cables for uplink connection. Configure stacking group, PoE power allocation, VLAN and security policies. Verify port link, PoE output and stack health after power on.
