Function

AL590006X-E6 is modular 10G I/O expansion card for VSP8400 chassis switch. It adds six SFP+ multi-speed ports for 1G or 10G fiber uplink to access switches, servers or storage devices. It provides hardware wire-speed Layer2 switching and Layer3 routing. Hot-swappable design allows replacement without powering down the whole chassis. Widely used for large campus core network, enterprise aggregation chassis port expansion and network upgrade.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Insert the line card into empty VSP8400 chassis slot and tighten retaining screws. Install SFP+ transceiver or DAC cable. Verify card recognition and port status via VOSS CLI, configure VLAN, routing or Fabric Connect as required.
