Function

E4G-400-DC is carrier-grade cell site aggregation router powered by telecom standard -48V DC, widely used in telecom central office and remote cell sites without AC mains. It aggregates traffic from multiple LTE/5G radio base stations and forwards data to mobile core network. Integrated high-precision timing ports deliver SyncE and 1588v2 clock synchronization required for mobile radio access. Combo ports support automatic failover between copper and fiber links for link redundancy. Optional T1/E1 module converges legacy 2G/3G TDM traffic via pseudowire. Dual redundant -48V DC power supplies guarantee non-stop operation for 24/7 telecom service. Widely deployed for mobile operator cell site, telecom edge room and radio backhaul aggregation.

InstallationApply ESD protection. Mount router into standard 19-inch rack. Install dual hot-swappable DC power modules and connect -48V telecom DC power cables with correct polarity. Insert SFP transceivers or install optional 10G / T1E1 expansion modules. Access console port for initial router configuration, set timing profile, MPLS, pseudowire and QoS policy. Verify clock synchronization and routing session after power-up.
