Function

220-48t-10GE4 is a cost-effective 1U rackmount enterprise gigabit access switch. It delivers 48 gigabit RJ45 ports for PCs, servers and wireless access points. Four native 10G SFP+ ports provide high-bandwidth uplink to aggregation or core switch, can also be used as stacking ports. It supports VLAN segmentation, QoS traffic scheduling, ACL security filtering, broadcast storm control and DHCP snooping, widely used in branch office, small campus and SMB wired network.

Installation

Mount the switch into standard 19-inch equipment rack. Connect AC power cable. Use RJ45 console cable for initial CLI configuration. Insert SFP/SFP+ transceivers into front SFP+ slots and connect fiber or DAC cables. Configure stacking parameters via ExtremeXOS CLI when multiple 220-series switches form stack cluster.
