Module Feature

NW10H13F2EHHXX is the full order code of Schneider MasterPact NW series drawout air circuit breaker.

Frame rated current 1000A, 3-pole structure, H1 grade ultimate breaking capacity 65kA @440V. Equipped with Micrologic 2.0E electronic trip unit, supporting long time overload delay, short time short-circuit and instantaneous short-circuit protection. Drawout chassis with safety shutter, horizontal top & bottom bus connection. Standard equipped with multi-channel auxiliary contact and SDE trip indication contact. It supports electrical closing, electrical tripping, real-time current/voltage metering and Modbus communication option. Widely stocked as spare for factory main incoming cabinet, data center low voltage distribution and power station MCC cabinet.

Working principle

Built-in current transformers sample three-phase load current and send signals to Micrologic trip unit.

The electronic protection module compares measured value with preset protection curve. When overload or short-circuit fault is detected, it triggers trip coil to release energy storage mechanism and separate main contacts quickly. The trip unit records fault current, fault type and time stamp, and uploads alarm signal to SCADA system via communication module.

Onboard components

Three-phase main contact group, arc extinguishing chamber, CT assembly, Micrologic 2.0E trip unit, energy storage motor, closing coil, trip coil, drawout chassis with safety shutter, auxiliary switch, SDE trip contact, status LED, mechanical indicator window and metal frame.

LED indicators

Trip unit LCD displays three-phase current, load rate, protection curve and fault records. Mechanical window shows spring charged/discharged, ON/OFF and trip status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects CT signal loss, SCR fault, energy storage failure, control power loss and communication timeout. Configuration and protection test are completed by Schneider EcoStruxure Power Commissioning software.

Installation

Lock upstream power supply and confirm safety isolation before replacement. Check three-phase phase sequence, match motor FLA and protection curve, verify control supply voltage, test close, trip and protection interlock function after commissioning.

Diagnostic

Overload trip: Load exceeds long delay setting, thermal accumulation. Instantaneous short trip: Downstream short circuit, starting inrush over-limit. Cannot close: Spring uncharged, interlock blocked, coil open circuit. Trip unit alarm: Auxiliary power missing, CT wiring break.
