Module Feature

PJA36080CU64BE1YP is Schneider Electric PowerPacT P frame electronic molded case circuit breaker.

It is a 3-pole device, rated current 800A, rated voltage 600VAC, fitted with Micrologic electronic trip unit, supporting long-time overload, short-time delay and instantaneous short-circuit protection. It integrates Modbus communication function to transmit electrical parameters and fault information to power monitoring system. It supports I-Line bus mounting or lug connection. Available accessories include auxiliary contact, alarm contact, shunt trip and undervoltage release. It is commonly used for factory, data center and petrochemical low voltage distribution cabinet as main or feeder protective spare.

Working principle

Built-in current transformers sample three-phase current signals and send data to Micrologic trip unit.

When overload, short time or short circuit fault occurs, the trip unit triggers the release mechanism to open main contacts and isolate the fault circuit. The communication module uploads real-time current, power, energy and fault records to upper SCADA system. Mechanical interlock prevents automatic reclosing after fault trip.

Onboard components

Main contact assembly, arc extinguishing chamber, CT current sensors, Micrologic electronic trip controller, Modbus communication board, operating mechanism, trip release coil, auxiliary and alarm contact set, thermoset insulated molded housing.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate power supply, communication running, overload pre-alarm and fault trip. Local display screen shows measured electrical parameters and fault codes.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects trip unit power loss, communication timeout, CT anomaly and internal hardware error. Fault logs can be viewed on local screen or EcoStruxure Power software.

Programming software

EcoStruxure Power Commission, used for protection curve setting, Modbus address configuration, fault log review and breaker testing.

Installation

Follow required wiring torque and phase sequence rules.

Set protection coordination parameters according to upstream and downstream equipment, perform trip and communication function test before energization.

Diagnostic
