Products Description

Schneider NW16H13PMDO2 ACB Unit

Module Feature

NW16H13PMDO2 is Schneider Masterpact NW drawout type air circuit breaker.

It adopts 3-pole construction, 1600A frame size, high H breaking class. It is equipped with Micrologic electronic trip unit supporting selective LSIG protection, pre-installed PM electrical motor operating mechanism and DO alarm/digital output contact. Drawout chassis allows rack withdrawal, test and isolation position without de-energizing upstream bus. It supports communication expansion module for power monitoring and SCADA remote upload. This legacy NW series is widely stocked as critical spare for power plant, oil & gas and factory low voltage main switchgear cabinet.

Working principle

Current transformers sample three-phase current signals and send data to Micrologic trip unit.

Electronic protection board continuously compares measured current with preset protection curves. When overload, short circuit or earth fault condition is detected, it triggers mechanical trip release to separate main contacts and isolate fault circuit. Motor operator completes remote electrical closing operation. The breaker stores fault timestamp, waveform and operation counter, and sends alarm signal via DO contact or communication bus.

Onboard components

Main contact assembly, arc extinguishing chamber, CT sensor set, Micrologic electronic trip unit, PM spring charging motor mechanism, auxiliary contact block, alarm DO contact, drawout chassis, front operation window and reinforced insulated housing.

LED indicators

Front indicators show breaker ON, breaker OFF, spring charged and fault trip status. Protection parameters and fault codes are displayed on Micrologic trip unit panel.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Micrologic trip unit monitors trip coil continuity, CT signal integrity, spring motor fault, internal power loss and hardware anomaly. Parameter setting and fault log reading are completed by EcoStruxure Power Commission software.

Programming software

EcoStruxure Power Commission, used for overload curve, short circuit threshold, earth fault setting and communication address configuration.
