Module Feature

NW4100T33WP22 belongs to Schneider Masterpact NW high-current air circuit breaker series. It adopts draw-out removable structure, convenient for online inspection and replacement without bus power cut. Equipped with Micrologic electronic protection unit, supports LSI, LSIG multi protection curves, adjustable overload, short-time delay and short-circuit instantaneous protection. 3-pole design, frame rated 4000A, high short-circuit breaking capacity. This version is pre-fitted with communication interface, auxiliary contact and closing/opening coil. Widely stocked as spare for power plant, data center, heavy industry main switchboard and large commercial power distribution system.

Working principle

Current transformers collect three-phase current signals and transmit data to Micrologic trip controller. The internal processor compares measured current with preset protection setting values. Overload condition triggers inverse time delayed trip; short circuit fault triggers fast breaking of main contacts. Closing coil, shunt trip coil and auxiliary contacts realize remote control and status feedback, data can be uploaded to SCADA or power monitoring system via communication bus.

Installation

Cut off upstream power supply before replacement. Insert breaker into drawout chassis, lock test/connected position, tighten main bus connection bolts, wire closing coil, shunt trip, auxiliary and communication cables, configure protection parameters, test energy storage, close, open and remote trip function after commissioning.

Diagnostic
