Module Feature

PJA36080CU43AYP is the Square D PowerPacT P series I-Line plug-in molded case circuit breaker.

It is three-pole, rated current 800A, 100% continuous rating, suitable for long-term full-load operation. Equipped with Micrologic 5.0A electronic trip unit, supports LSI protection: overload, short time delay short circuit and instantaneous short circuit. Adopts I-Line bus plug-in structure, no main lug wiring, quick plug and pull for replacement. The trip unit has local display, current measurement and event recording function, communication module can be expanded for Modbus network access. Widely stocked as maintenance spare for data center, factory and commercial building I-Line low voltage distribution panel.

Working principle

Built-in current sensors transmit three-phase current signal to Micrologic 5.0A trip unit.

When overload, delayed short circuit or severe short circuit fault occurs, the electronic unit triggers the release mechanism to separate main contacts and cut off power supply. The trip unit records fault current value and timestamp. Optional communication module uploads real-time current, energy and alarm information to power monitoring SCADA system.

Onboard components

Main contact and arc extinguishing chamber, Micrologic 5.0A LSI trip module, manual operating handle, I-Line plug-in contact base, auxiliary contact slot, test button, status indicator window and flame retardant reinforced plastic housing.

LED indicators

Local LCD on Micrologic trip unit displays current, alarm codes and trip records; LED indicates power and fault status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Trip unit detects internal electronic error and sensor abnormality. Configuration and fault query are completed by Schneider EcoStruxure Power software.

Installation

Isolate upstream bus power before replacement.

Align breaker with I-Line busbar slot and lock, install auxiliary/communication accessories as required, set LSI protection parameters, test manual operation and protection trip function after commissioning.

Diagnostic

Overload trip: Load current exceeds long-time setting. Short time trip: Downstream low-impedance short circuit. Instantaneous trip: Solid short-circuit fault. Communication offline: Adapter loose, bus wiring failure.
