Module Feature

TL3AAR64A3SFFFFXCX is a Masterpact NT08H series air circuit breaker from Schneider Electric legacy NT platform.

It is rated 800A, three-pole configuration, equipped with Micrologic 6.0P electronic trip unit, which supports overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short circuit and earth fault protection. It has built-in LCD local display for reading current, power and fault record, supports Modbus communication for remote monitoring. It has metal arc chute chamber, mechanical interlock, anti-condensation heater option, and is widely used as main incoming breaker for low voltage distribution systems in chemical, mining and power automation projects.

Working principle

When circuit current exceeds the protection threshold, the Micrologic electronic trip unit sends trip command to the shunt release.

The operating mechanism releases the main contact system, the arc chute extinguishes the breaking arc rapidly to isolate the fault circuit. The breaker can realize manual closing, electrical motor closing, remote opening and closing control, and upload fault alarm and electrical parameter data to SCADA system through communication bus.

Onboard components

Main silver alloy contact assembly, arc quenching chamber, spring stored energy operating mechanism, Micrologic 6.0P trip controller, LCD display module, shunt release / under voltage release coil, motor charging mechanism, backplane power and communication terminal block.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate energy stored status, closed position, open position, pre-alarm and protection fault trip status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects trip unit power loss, current sensor unbalance, communication interruption and internal electronic fault. Fault codes and event logs can be viewed on local LCD or uploaded to Schneider EcoStruxure host software.

Programming software

EcoStruxure Power Commission software, used for protection curve setting, event log download, communication address configuration and breaker diagnostic maintenance.

Installation

Install inside the LV switchgear compartment and complete earthing connection strictly.

Charge spring energy manually or electrically, set protection parameters according to upstream and downstream coordination requirement before power-on commissioning.

Diagnostic
