Feature & Principle

It is the core PROFIBUS DP interface module of Siemens ET200M remote I/O station. It acts as a DP slave station on the PROFIBUS bus, exchanges data with the main S7-300 PLC, and communicates with S7-300 signal modules through the backplane bus of ET200M rack. IM153-1 supports up to 8 I/O modules, IM153-2 high feature version supports up to 12 modules, and some models support redundant configuration, isochronous mode and module hot swap, which can realize flexible distributed signal collection and output.
