Module Feature

PJA36040U64AE1 belongs to Square D PowerPact P series molded case circuit breaker. It adopts I-Line plug-in connection for Square D I-Line bus system. Equipped with Micrologic 6.0P electronic trip unit supporting full LSIG protection functions: long-time overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short-circuit and ground fault protection. Built-in Modbus communication interface for power data uploading, metering and remote diagnosis. Frame rating 400A, 3-pole, 600VAC, 25kA interrupting capacity at 600VAC. Auxiliary contact, alarm switch, shunt trip and undervoltage release can be installed on site. Widely stocked as spare for factory switchgear, commercial distribution and power monitoring system cabinets.

Working principle

Three-phase CT samples current signals and transmits data to Micrologic 6.0P trip controller. The processor compares measured current with preset protection thresholds. Overload triggers inverse long delay trip; short-time fault triggers adjustable short-delay trip; high short-circuit triggers instantaneous trip; ground fault leakage signal activates GF protection. Trip unit collects voltage, current, power and energy data, uploads to SCADA/power management system via Modbus bus. Auxiliary and alarm contacts output breaker ON/OFF and trip status dry contacts.

Installation

Cut off upstream power supply before replacement. Align breaker with I-Line bus and lock to connected position, tighten load side lug bolts, wire auxiliary, alarm and Modbus communication cables, configure LSIG protection parameters, test close, open and protection trip function after commissioning.
