Products Description

VMIC VMIACC-BT01 Rear Transition Board

Module Feature

VMIACC-BT01 is a single-slot 6U VMEbus passive rear transition I/O board developed by VMIC (GE Fanuc / Abaco Systems). It belongs to BT0X transition panel family, specially matched with VMIVME-1184 quadrature counter and other VMIC front-side VME I/O boards. It transfers multi-channel discrete digital signals from VME backplane P2 connector to rear terminal block interface. This board is fully passive without active chips, only PCB copper trace routing for digital signal transmission, without signal amplification, conversion or data processing. Rear breakout design separates all field wiring to chassis rear side, reducing front panel cable clutter and minimizing crosstalk with optimized ground and shielding layout. It meets ANSI/IEEE SWC TEST standard for industrial wiring. Rugged Eurocard PCB with conformal coating, shock and vibration screened for power plant cabinet environment, widely used in gas/steam turbine encoder signal acquisition cabinet wiring, aerospace ground test bench and hardware-in-loop real-time simulation VME chassis.

Working principle

Discrete I/O signals from front VME I/O module pass through VME backplane and connect to P2 connector of VMIACC-BT01. Internal shielded PCB traces directly route all incoming digital signals to rear terminal block connectors. No power consumption required; it only provides physical signal path extension and wiring transition.

Onboard components

VME J1/J2 edge connector,P2 rear VME connector,multi-channel discrete signal terminal block, passive copper trace network and ground shield plane.

LED indicators

No LED indicators,completely passive hardware.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Visual inspection of PCB,components and solder joints;continuity test of each discrete signal channel;P2 pin contact and shield ground continuity verification.

Programming software

No driver or software required, completely passive transition hardware.
