Module Feature

ENCLOSURE refers to the protective enclosure for electrical and automation components.

It is commonly manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel or engineering plastic. It provides mechanical protection, dust and water ingress prevention for internal controllers, power distribution parts and terminal blocks. It can be equipped with door lock, gland plates, mounting plate and ventilation accessories. Widely used as spare housing for on-site control, instrument and power distribution cabinets.

Working principle

The rigid closed shell isolates internal electrical parts from external dust, splashing water and mechanical impact.

Gland holes are reserved for cable entry, and internal mounting plate is used to fix electrical devices. It limits accidental contact with live parts to meet electrical safety requirements.

Onboard components

Cabinet shell, mounting backplate, hinged door, lock assembly, cable gland plate, sealing gasket, optional ventilation filter.

LED indicators

No built-in LED indicator.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Check seal integrity, surface corrosion, door hinge and lock function manually. No parameter adjustment.

Programming software

Not applicable, passive protective housing.

Installation

Fix enclosure firmly on wall or base, install cable glands, arrange internal wiring, close and lock cabinet door after commissioning.
