Product Brief:

KPS‑600/20‑REL is a legacy main servo power supply unit for KUKA KRC2 robot cabinet. Suffix REL stands for integrated short‑circuit braking relay. When watchdog detects communication failure or system fault, the relay triggers short‑circuit braking to lock robot axes and prevent servo runaway. It converts three‑phase industrial AC into high‑voltage DC‑bus power to supply all KSD1 series servo drive modules. Integrated pre‑charge circuit limits inrush current during power‑on; brake chopper absorbs regenerative energy generated during robot deceleration. Main contactor and discharge circuit realize standard power‑on and power‑off sequence. It supports 6‑axis collective braking and 2‑axis independent external‑axis braking function. It interacts with DSE‑IBS safety board and MFC motion control board through Interbus drive bus, uploading real‑time working status and fault information. Panel LED indicators support quick on‑site fault diagnosis without extra testing tools. Plug‑in cabinet mounting structure enables convenient disassembly and module replacement. This is EOL discontinued spare component, used for power unit fault replacement of existing KRC2 robot systems. Please distinguish KPS‑600/20, KPS‑600/20‑REL and KPS‑600/20‑ESC versions before purchase, confirm part number, hardware revision and cabinet hardware configuration. Strict ESD anti‑static measures must be followed during installation and commissioning.
