Product Brief:
KPS‑600 (KPS‑600/20) is early‑version main servo power supply inside KUKA KRC2 robot cabinet. It does not carry onboard ESC safety‑loop hardware, safety‑related functions are completed by external DSE‑IBS safety board. It converts three‑phase industrial AC power into high‑voltage DC‑bus power to supply all KSD1 series servo drive modules. Integrated pre‑charge circuit limits inrush current during power‑on; brake chopper absorbs regenerative energy generated during robot deceleration to avoid DC‑bus overvoltage risk. Main contactor and discharge circuit realize standard power‑on and power‑off sequence for cabinet. It exchanges working status and fault data with DSE‑IBS safety board and MFC motion control board through Interbus drive bus. Panel LED indicators support quick on‑site fault diagnosis without extra testing tools. Plug‑in cabinet mounting structure enables convenient disassembly and module replacement. This is legacy EOL discontinued spare component, used for power unit fault replacement of existing KRC2 robot systems. Please distinguish clearly between KPS‑600/20 (no ESC) and KPS‑600/20‑ESC version before purchase, confirm part number, hardware revision and cabinet hardware configuration. ESD anti‑static protection must be implemented during installation and commissioning.
