Module Feature

34900005-34 is Siemens gas analyzer sample gas filter element, a standard consumable for CEMS and online process gas sampling systems.

It adopts multi-layer composite filter medium, fine pore structure, can intercept particulate dust, tar mist and liquid droplets in flue gas or process gas. It has good chemical resistance to acidic and alkaline sample gas. Installed inside sample gas probe or sample conditioning cabinet, it protects the optical detection cell and sensor of the analyzer from contamination.

Working principle

Sample gas flows through the porous filter medium, solid particles and liquid aerosols are trapped on the surface and inside the filter layer.

Clean gas passes through to the gas analyzer for component concentration measurement. Long-term operation will cause the filter to clog, increasing sample gas back pressure and affecting measurement response speed.

Onboard components

Filter medium body, support inner/outer mesh, sealing O-ring.

LED indicators

No built-in indicator lamp. Blockage fault is reflected by sample flow low alarm or pressure difference alarm of sample system.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

No electronic self-check for filter itself. System judges clogging through differential pressure and sample flow monitoring.

Programming software

Analyzer host software for sample flow and alarm status monitoring.

Installation

Carry out purging and leak isolation before replacement. Install new O-ring together.

Insert filter element in correct flow direction, lock filter housing. After replacement, perform leak test and sample flow verification. Replace according to differential pressure or fixed maintenance cycle.

Sample flow low: Filter element blocked.
